Cri de Cœur...
Boys will be boys. And even that wouldn't matter if , only we could prevent girls from being girls. ~ANNE FRANK.
Cri de Cœur literally meaning from the heart.
The speeches of our leaders, make a great impact! It’s what drives a sentiment within the public, that’s trés difficilé to express.
During J.F.K’s tenure as the president, he gave a beautiful speech about serving the country, this led to many YOUNG MEN Joining the ARMY and going for the VIETNAM WAR!
As the I-Day approaches, and we celebrate 75 years of Independence— I am made to think of all those men who lost their lives in the freedom struggle, of-course we do hear about some WOMEN too but they do seem to be missing from the SPOTLIGHT.
I think of this idea that the words of our leaders, they really do matter….
There’s a sense of Revolution, a Change (one craves for) and then of-course the STRUGGLE!
The inner breakthrough and generally misunderstood term : “Enlightenment.”
The problem is that our view of enlightenment are either based upon our personal experiences or upon limited conceptual understanding.
Since most people have never had experience in realm, the state of enlightenment is either scoffed at completely or viewed as the ultimate mystical state accessible to almost no one. It’s safe to say that only one thing most people know for sure about enlightenment is that they are not there.
My mum:
She’s perhaps one of the reasons why, I was raised to see things from a different perspective-stand up for things I wanted, set healthy boundaries, Say NO and unwelcome the drama that hampers my GROWTH!
She was a REBEL through school as well as college, baggy jeans, curly hair and a nonchalant brain.
Even today, when I lapse or do things that don’t deem fit to my morals. There’s a continuous knock that keeps honking in my brain that what if, I can’t live upto her expectations? Or what if I can’t give back on things, she’s sacrificed for US.
There’s always that sense of WHAT IF!
So, as she taught me I stand up for things I feel are right, Say NO to things that hamper my growth and try to seek profoundness in trying to elevate and subsist with whoever I can….
I have believed that, that ONE PAT on the SHOULDER on a BLUE DAY, to anybody can turn things around for people !
Forget you have a FAVOURITE, you are the SENIOR, a MAN or a WOMAN. Just one pat is all it takes !
If you can’t truly help outshine people, learn to outgrow them!!!
True freedom is extremely close; it’s just on the other side of the walls. Enlightenment is a very special thing. But, in truth, one should only focus on it!
Focus, instead on the walls of your own MAKING that are BLOCKING THE LIGHT and then EVEN STRIVE FOR ENLIGHTENMENT?
POKE? POKE? POKE?= for what? A chance at integrity or Superiority?
You can get out simply by letting everyday life take down the walls you Hold around yourself. WHAT IS UNACCEPTABLE IS UNACCEPTABLE. PERIOD!
The day you let someone SHOUT AT YOU OR MAKE YOU FEEL INFERIOR BY PATRONISING YOU.
Is the day, you have lost the battle-fully!
You can get out simply by letting everyday life take down the walls you hold around yourself.
You are a VICTOR— the day you simply don’t participate in supporting, maintaining and defending your FORTRESS.
The house of Thoughts, I have built somehow in the middle of an ocean of light from TRILLION STARS.
It is but the awareness trapped inside the darkness of the house, struggling daily to live off the artificial light of limited experiences.
When you subsist or say this is how it happens, always will , always has been. You eventually put down or downgrade all of the EFFORTS PUT FORTH BY NUMEROUS WOMEN THROUGH AGES!
In a way you belittle their sacrifices, to attain a feeling of self-actualisation for a wee period of time.
Now, imagine the clouds thundering and the thoughts wearing off and the effortless release of consciousness expanding into the brilliance of what is and always was. Now that the experience, it has it’s own name—-ENLIGHTENMENT.
